CAIC Membership Agreement
Members of the Community of Ambitious and Inspired CEOs (CAIC) are part of a network built on leadership, integrity, collaboration, and service. As ambassadors of this community, members are expected to uphold the highest standards of character and professionalism, both in person and online. Our shared goal is to elevate one another, strengthen our collective influence, and contribute positively to the CAIC mission. The purpose of this agreement is to outline the expectations, values, and responsibilities that guide our community.
By joining CAIC, all members agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inspiring environment for all.
1. Confidentiality
Members must maintain strict confidentiality regarding any information obtained through the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, information about:
- Fellow members
- Volunteers
- Board members
- CAIC partners, funders, and affiliates
- Internal discussions, documents, communications, and strategies
Confidential information may not be disclosed, shared, or used for personal benefit outside CAIC.
2. Accountability
Members agree to:
- Exercise good judgment and professionalism in all dealings connected to CAIC.
- Conduct themselves in ways that support the purpose and reputation of CAIC.
- Maintain good standing by paying membership dues on time.
- Understand that membership fees are non-refundable after the seven-day trial period.
- Follow all CAIC guidelines, including those related to online conduct, event participation, and community engagement.
3. Professional Conduct
Members are expected to:
- Uphold a high standard of courtesy, respect, and fairness in all interactions.
- Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any situation that could compromise impartiality or the best interests of CAIC.
- Support fellow members, share knowledge ethically, and contribute positively to the community’s growth.
4. Online Engagement
Because CAIC operates across multiple digital platforms and networking spaces, members agree to:
- Communicate respectfully in all online forums, groups, chats, and platforms associated with CAIC.
- Refrain from harassment, bullying, unsolicited promotions, or disruptive behaviour.
- Use CAIC platforms for constructive dialogue, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Follow any additional platform-specific guidelines issued by CAIC.
5. Membership Term, Renewal & Cancellation
- Memberships renew annually or monthly depending on the chosen plan.
- Members may cancel at any time; however, previously paid fees are non-refundable.
- Failure to follow payment schedules may result in temporary suspension until dues are fulfilled.
- Members may request a cancellation in writing at any time; cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Termination of Membership
CAIC reserves the right to terminate a membership if a member:
- Violates this Membership Agreement
- Engages in misconduct that negatively impacts CAIC
- Acts contrary to the spirit of collaboration, professionalism, or integrity expected of CAIC members
If membership is terminated due to violation of this agreement, no refund will be issued.
Acceptance
By joining CAIC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Membership Agreement and Code of Conduct.
